In August 2026, exports were 1,912 tractors, which is 4 units less than in August 2025. Export sales were fairly level, with sales growing by 0%for the company.

According to Farm Equipment Business President – Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., Veejay Nakra, the company sold 27,595 tractors in its domestic market during August 2026, which is 5% higher than last year.

He further said that the rains have been improving since then and so far Kharif sowing is near normal. Rural sentiment is likely to get a boost from continued support from various government schemes and the upcoming festive season. Mahindra sold 1,912 tractors in the export market.

Mahindra Tractor Sales April-August 2026

The Farm Equipment Business of Mahindra also saw commendable overall gains in the first five months of FY27.

The domestic sales of tractors in April-August 2026 increased by 17% to 2,12,664 units, from 1,82,390 units during April-August 2025.

The sales of tractors (including exports) during the April-August 2026 period were 2,21,968 units, up from 1,90,914 units in the corresponding period a year ago. This is a 16% y/y increase.

During the five months, the exports were at 9,304 units, which is 9% up from the previous year's 8,524 units.

Mahindra's tractor sales were positive in August 2026 as steady improvement in rainfall helped near-normal Kharif sowing. The company anticipates that continued support from various government schemes and the upcoming festive season will boost rural sentiment and help boost tractor demand.
