About Farmtrac Tractors

Farmtrac is a brand under Escorts Kubota Limited and is known for high performance and modern technology. While Powertrac focuses more on fuel saving, Farmtrac focuses on power and good looks. It is often compared to the “Ford Legacy” in India, which sells tractors that are stylish, strong, and ready to handle tough commercial and farming work. Farmtrac is also a leader in green technology, as it is the first Indian company to make and sell electric tractors in Europe and America.

Farmtrac Tractors History in India.

1969–1971: Escorts started making tractors in India under the Ford license, which became very popular and well known.

1996: Escorts launched Farmtrac after the Ford/New Holland license ended, to continue offering Indian farmers powerful high-HP tractors.

International Expansion: In 2000, Escorts bought a tractor factory in Mragowo, Poland, and started Farmtrac Tractors Europe. This helped the brand meet strict European quality and pollution rules.

2022: The brand entered into the Escorts Kubota Limited partnership, adding Japanese accuracy to its engineering. The tractors are mainly made in modern factories in Faridabad, Haryana and exported to more than 60 countries.

Farmtrac Tractors Technology, Features and Performance.

Farmtrac tractors can be described as world-class engineering, which delivers strong pulling power and gives the operator maximum comfort.

Engine and Performance: They use AVL technology engines and e-CRT (Electronic Common Rail) systems in premium models. These engines meet modern pollution standards and provide strong extra power when needed.

Transmission: Farmtrac introduced the T20 gearbox (16 forward, 4 reverse), giving a wide range of speeds for work like baling, seeding, and heavy trolley pulling.

Hydraulics: These tractors have SmartPro lift switches and strong ADDC hydraulics, making it easy to lift loads between 1,500 kg and 2,500 kg.

Safety and Comfort: They feature Supermaxx design, balanced power steering, oil-immersed brakes, and a comfortable operator seat designed for long working hours of 10–12 hours.

Electric Innovation: FT25G is the name of the electric tractor prototype made by Farmtrac for zero-pollution farming in greenhouses and orchards.

Best Designs and Series by Farmtrac.

Farmtrac Atom Series (22–35 HP): These are small tractors made for orchards and vineyards. Atom 26 is popular because of its 4WD and small turning radius.

Farmtrac Champion Series (35–45 HP): The all-rounder series. Medium-sized Indian farms commonly use models like the Champion 41 XP, which is well known for reliable, regular farming.

Farmtrac Powermaxx Series (50–60 HP): Heavy-duty tractors like Farmtrac 60 Powermaxx and 6055 Powermaxx are built to handle heavy implements such as rotavators, harvesters, and long-distance transport.

Farmtrac Executive Series: Attractive international styling, modern dashboards, and strong 4WD systems for large commercial farming.

Farmtrac Heritage Series: A mix of classic, strong looks and modern internal parts, popular in India and Europe.
