Lucknow, 22 April 2026: Escorts Kubota Limited on Tuesday announced the launch of three new tractor models under its Digitrac range, expanding the lineup into a five-model series in the 45–55 HP category.
The newly introduced models include Digitrac PP 46i 4WD, Digitrac PP 43i Plus, and Digitrac PP 41i. With the addition of a 4WD variant, the company aims to cater to a wider range of farming and haulage requirements across India.
The Digitrac series is part of the company’s Powertrac brand, which targets the value segment, while its overall portfolio also includes Kubota for premium customers and Farmtrac for the entry-premium category. The latest launch marks the company’s fourth major tractor introduction since 2025, reflecting its continued focus on strengthening its presence in the Indian tractor market.
The expanded Digitrac product line, which the company launched, serves as a solution to meet the agricultural requirements of contemporary farmers. The tractors come with bigger engines and tyres, together with a 12 forward and 3 reverse constant mesh gearbox and side-shift gear system, and an independent PTO and 2000 kg hydraulic lifting capacity. The system enables operation with high-tech farming equipment, which includes super seeders and reapers, reversible MB ploughs, and laser levellers.
The Digitrac PP 43i Plus delivers a maximum speed of 39.9 km/h, which makes it one of the fastest tractors in its category. The company explained that mid-range tractors now deliver performance capabilities that used to belong exclusively to high-horsepower tractors because these advancements help boost productivity on farms and enhance efficiency during transportation.
Nikhil Nanda, Chairman and Managing Director- “This is our fourth new tractor introduction since February 2025, across all three brands. This sustained pace of launches reflects the stage we are now in as an organisation. Each launch is a deliberate step towards strengthening our portfolio and moving closer to our stated ambition of a stronger market position in India.”
Akira Kato, Deputy Managing Director- “Digitrac has established a strong identity with its distinctive design and proven appeal among young and progressive farmers. Expanding it into a full series of five models is a natural progression. We see a meaningful opportunity to scale this product across India and make it an even larger contributor to the Powertrac business.”
Neeraj Mehra, Chief Officer, Tractor Business Division- “Digitrac is now a full-fledged Tractor Series for New Age Farmers. With its positioning as Style to Kill, Performance to Thrill, this new expanded Digitrac series brings 5 models with bigger engines, a 12+3 gearbox, independent PTO and a top speed of up to 39.9 km/h. These are features that were earlier available only in higher horsepower categories. With Digitrac, we are making advanced tractor capability accessible in the 45 to 55 HP segment, also with the fuel efficiency and value that Powertrac is known for. We are confident that the expanded series will further strengthen this connect with farmers across India.”
The newly launched models are now available through authorised Powertrac dealerships across India.
