Faridabad, May 1, 2026: Escorts Kubota Limited (EKL) has announced robust tractor sales for April 2026 with 10,857 units sold, up by 24.4% from 8,729 units in April 2025. Strong domestic demand and a positive rural outlook contributed to the growth.
Domestically, 10,398 units were sold, up by 27.6%, driven by a favourable crop outlook, sufficient water in reservoirs, and better farmers' cash flows. Other factors, such as steady demand for tractors in India and improving financial support, also helped boost sales.
But exports fell, with 459 units exported, down 21.0% year-on-year due to international issues.

The company's outlook is positive for a recovery in rural sales, but with global and weather risks to consider.
