Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.’s Farm Equipment Business (FEB) has announced its tractor sales performance for May 2026, reporting strong growth in both domestic and overall sales. The company continued its positive momentum during the month, supported by strong rural demand, timely completion of Rabi harvesting, and favourable terms of trade for farmers.
During May 2026, Mahindra sold 47,845 tractors in the domestic market, compared to 38,914 units sold during May 2025. This represents a significant year-on-year growth of 23%.
The company’s total tractor sales, including domestic and export markets, reached 49,695 units in May 2026, compared to 40,643 units during the same period last year. Exports for the month stood at 1,850 units.

Commenting on the sales performance, Veejay Nakra, President – Farm Equipment Business, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., stated that the company sold 47,845 tractors in the domestic market during May 2026, registering a 23% growth over the previous year. He attributed the strong performance to the timely completion of Rabi harvesting and favourable economic conditions for farmers.
He further added that Mahindra exported 1,850 tractors during the month, achieving a 7% growth in overseas markets compared to May 2025.
Mahindra Tractor delivered a strong performance in May 2026, driven by robust domestic demand and steady export growth. With domestic sales rising 23% and total tractor sales growing 22% year-on-year, the company continues to strengthen its leadership position in the Indian tractor market. Favourable agricultural conditions and strong farmer sentiment are expected to support demand in the coming months.
